4Students Central Association (SCA)

Go to top

The Students' Central Association coordinates the cultural and social activities in the College.  It is  an asset to the college in the maintenance of decorum/discipline in the college; arrangement of various college functions, etc. The SCA is an important link in the redressal of students' grievances.

The Students' Central Association guards the best interests of the students. Our approach in this matter is reflected right from the way we use the idea of students' election. We work from the belief that early exposure of the students to electoral process is a good idea, provided it is taken up in the right manner. In our college we have reduced the intervention of the political groupings to the minimum level.

No doubt the student groups have affiliation with the student bodies of political parties. The difference we make is that we involve all students in the matters of their immediate interest thus leaving them no space to peddle the bad practices of the professional politicians. These have no impact on our students as they are made to strictly adhere to necessary election codes. Our students contest the most peaceful election without taking recourse to the mean methods of influencing the voters.

Once the elected body is put in place, all types of election fever and rivalries are forgotten once and for all and even those students who have lost in the contest continue to get full attention if they bring up the genuine problems concerning the students.

Go to top

A very commendable imitative taken by the students of B.B.A. was followed by the formation of Parwaaz.  The basic aim of this club is to impart management skills to the students.

With just two colleges in Chandigarh offering Professional Degrees in business administration, our club was the one which foresighted a need to integrate academics with practicality. Amid to this integration our college and our club is the first  to organize a city level education cum book fair. The club was formulated to emulate the ever changing needs of the business domain.

  • To inculcate team spirit in the students and enhance their creativity and imagination.

  • To develop an over all personality and prepare them to face the world with more confidence and dauntless visage.

  • To ensure that students are imparted with effective communication skills and provide optimal opportunities

The club is an effort not only for the students but by the students. This body works with the motive of defining the carriers of young minds from the very initial stages.

It aims at providing a unique chance and platform to the students to discover and further explore their abilities that are ignored in the usual course of education. It moves towards producing  academicians, ready to tame up the challenges with the zeal to become future leaders.
