B.Sc. (Hons) Bioinformatics and B.Sc. (Hons) Biotechnology

Duration

The duration of the courses for the degrees of B.Sc. (Hons) in Bioinformatics and B.Sc. (Hons) Bio technology shall be three years and the examination shall be held in three parts viz. Part-I at the end of the course of the first year, Part-II at the end of the course of the second year and Part-III (Final) at the end of the course of the third year.

These examinations shall ordinarily be held once a year in April on such dates as are fixed by the Syndicate. Number of Seats - 25 in each programme

Eligibility

A candidate must have passed Senior Secondary Part-II (12th Class) examination with a minimum of 50% marks in medical or non-medical science group from CBSE or any other board recognized by Panjab University.

OR Any other examination recognized as equivalent to (a) above by the Panjab University.
