Loan Privileges

The number of books that could be borrowed by a member from the library at a time varies from class to class. Generally the books are lent for a period of one month.

Book may be re-issued if it is not in demand but this will be at the discretion of the Librarian. The period of loan can be be extended by the Librarian on the merit of individual case. The Textbooks mostly those of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics can be issued for not more than 2 days preferably in the week ends.

Reading material in the reference section is not issuable. It is meant for consultation in the library premises itself. Some are the conditions with Periodical Section as well comprising of Journals/Magazines etc.

Here is DAVC Library the students are privileged to get the books issued on security which is refundable. After getting the no-dues cleared students can get the books issued for their annual examinations as well.
