LATE ADMISSIONS
A student whose result of
+2 examination conducted by a School Board is
published late, but not later than 10th
August of the year of admission, may be admitted
without late fee within 15 working days of the
declaration of the result and his/ her
attendance shall be counted from the date of
admission . This would be applicable to an Open
School Board also. After expiry of this period,
the late admission approval from the
Vice-Chancellor is required.
In the case of Panjab
University students who have already appeared in
any of its examinations and the result is
declared late for one reason or the other, the
admission cannot be said to be a case of fresh
admission. They are already midway of the
course/ class. In their cases, admissions to the
next class/ course are allowed within 10 days,
from the date of communication of the result,
without charging any late fee.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR
CANDIDATES

-
The application
form must be filled in by the candidate
in his or her own hand in a clear and
legible manner.
-
This application
form complete in all respects must be
submitted to the college office as has
been indicated in the Admission Notice
of 2006 as well as in the Prospectus on
or before the last date indicated, even
if the result of the qualifying
examination has not been declared.
-
The application
form must be completed in all respects.
No column should be left unfilled. If
any Information sought is not applicable
to the candidate the word NA should be
entered against this column. If a
candidate omits/conceals relevant
information or gives false information,
his/her admission is liable to be
cancelled.
-
Attested copies of
Board/University Certificates,
certificates claiming special status,
etc. must be attached with the
application. In case the required
documents are not attached, the
application is liable to be rejected as
incomplete.
-
The declaration to
be made by candidate and his/her
parent/guardian on page 3 should be
signed and dated before the application
is submitted.
-
All
certificates/documents submitted by the
candidate with this form must be signed
by the candidate himself / herself also.
Note: THE
CANDIDATES SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT THE
ADMISSION IF GRANTED BY THE COLLEGE WOULD BE
PROVISIONAL AND SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION BY
THE UNIVERSITY

Merit lists for
Admission to the above classes will be
displayed on the college Notice Board on
June 29, 2006, at 11.00 a.m. and admission
will begin on July 03, 2006 at 8.30 a.m.

For B.P.Ed, (4 year
Course) I-Application forms to be submitted
by 30th June, 2006. Sports Trials on 4 July,
2006 at 7.30 a.m. Merit list to be displayed
at 9.30 a.m. on 5 July, 2006. Admissions/
interview to follow display of merit list on
the same day.

On the spot admissions
for all other classes/ programmes also begin
on July 3rd, 2006. The applications for
these programmes are to be submitted at the
time of interview for admission.

Office timings for
admission 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Before submitting the
Application Form, please note down the
serial no. of the form.

Mere submission of
Application Form does not ensure Admission.

The students should
deposit their fees on the day of admission,
otherwise the admission will be treated as
cancelled.

A wrong statement of
facts or wilful concealing of information
may lead to expulsion of the student.

ADMISSION
IS STRICTLY ON MERIT
Rules for
Withdrawal
I. A
student who wishes to leave the college must
apply in writing to the Principal. the application must be countersigned by
his parent or a responsible guardian. No student
will be permitted to leave the college until
he/she has cleared all the college dues.
2. A
student has to pay the college fees and all
other dues until his/her name is formally withdrawn. Refund of fee is not
permitted except for the security amount.
College
Leave Rules
Leave must be applied
for in advance on the prescribed leave form
available from the office on payment. In
case a student absents himself continuously
for five days, his name will be struck off
the college rolls automatically. The maximum
leave allowed to a student during the year
is 15 days only. In case of serious illness,
the leave application must be submitted as
soon as possible along with the medical
certificate. Leave up to 3 days will be
granted by the tutor and for more than three
days by the Principal.
Identity Card Rules
On joining the college
each student is issued an Identity Card
bearing his photograph, name and roll
number. Students are expected to carry their
identity cards with them to the college.
Books are issued from the library and
students are admitted to the Reading room
and House Examination on production of the
Identity Card. Identity Card is also
necessary for participating in cultural and
social activities and for claiming railway
concession. If it is lost another can be got
issued on payment of Identity Card Charges.
