Information
Regarding Compartment Candidates
a)
Compartment Candidates of other Universities :-
A student of
any other University who is placed in
compartment in 1st year/2nd year/3rd year of
B.A./
B.Sc./B.Com Course is not allowed to join
the 2nd year/ 3rd year/ P.G. Courses of this
University.
b)
Compartment Candidates of +2 Examination for
Admission to B.A./ B.Sc (General) - lst
Year Class :-
A candidate who
has been placed under compartment in the +2
examination conducted by a
Board/ Body/
Council/ University in India shall be eligible
to seek admission to the 1st year of
B.A./B.Sc.
(General) course
under 10+2+3 system of
education, provided he/she fulfils the following
conditions :-
i) He/She should have been placed under compartment
in one subject only.
ii) He/She should have obtained at least 20% marks
in the subject in which he had been placed in
compartment.
iii) He/She should have obtained the requisite
percentage of marks in the aggregate of the examination as laid
down in the relevant
regulations.
Provided that :
i) A
candidate joining the B.A.- 1st year class
should have obtained at least 33% marks in the
aggregate of all the subjects (including the
marks obtained by him/ her in the subject
of compartment, Theory and Practical/s taken
together) taken up by him/her at the +2
examination.
ii) A
candidate joining the B.Sc. (General)-Ist year
class should have obtained at least 40%
marks in the aggregate
of all the subjects
(including the marks obtained by him/her in the subject of compartment, Theory
and
Practical's taken together) taken up by
him/her at the +2 exam.
iii) If
the candidates placed under compartment in +2
with less then 20% marks cleared heir
compartment
examination by appearing in the
Supplementary Examination of the Board
before the last date of admission, they
shall be considered for admission to the next higher class provided they were eligible
and subject to availability of
seats.
c) Compartment Candidates of +2 Examination for
Admission to B.Com 1st year Class
a) A
candidate who has been placed under compartment
in the +2 examination conducted by a Board/
Body/
Council/ University in India shall be
eligible to seek admission to the First Year
of B.Com. Course, provided
he/she fulfils the
following conditions :-
i) He/She should have been placed in compartment in
one subject only;
ii) He/She should have obtained at least 20% marks
in the subject he/she had been placed in
compartment and
iii) He/She should have obtained the requisite
percentage of marks in the aggregate of the examination as laid down
in the relevant
regulations.
b) If
the candidates placed under compartment in +2
with less then 20% marks cleared their
compartment
examination by appearing in the
supplementary Examination of the Board
before the last date of admission, they
shall be considered for admission to the next
higher class provided they were eligible and
subject to availability of
seats.
A)
The
candidate securing less than 20% marks in the
subject of compartment of the +2 examination
held in March
2006 is eligible to join the 1st
year of the degree course during the session
2006-07 if he/ she passes the
examination to be
held in August/September (bi- annual) 2006, on
or before the last date given in the admission
schedule.
B)
20% marks
implies Theory and Practical taken together
d) Compartment
Candidates of +2 Examination seeking admission
to first degree level-running parallel utility
oriented
certificate/Diploma/Advanced Diploma
Programme along with B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Part-I
Course :-
The candidate
who are placed in compartment in +2 examination
having been admitted provisionally to B.A./
B.Sc./B.Com. Part-I Class shall also be
considered to have been admitted provisionally
in these courses.
Important
A candidate who
is placed in compartment in only one subject in
the Senior Secondary Examination (Class XII) or
T.D.C. Part l or II examination (new system) of
P.U. is allowed to join the next higher class
provisionally in the college affiliated to this
university on the condition that if he fails to
clear the compartment subject of the
University/Board in two consecutive chances,
immediately following the examination in which
he was placed in compartment his provisional
admission to the next higher class shall be
cancelled.
