DAV College Alumni Association

Membership Form

The DAV. College Alumni Association was formally launched in 2002-03.

Its first grand function was the ceremony held along with active participation of the college staff and students to honour some of our martyrs & prominent position holders. The Hon'ble Vice-President of India, Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, was the Chief Guest at the function.

Our Martyrs

The Association has a website on which the name, designation and addresses of all the members are mentioned. It hopes to substantially increase its membership and activities in the near future.

Our Distinguished Alumni

The objectives of the Association are:

• To promote and inspire a feeling of fraternity between all the old students.

• To strengthen the link and tie of fellowship between the present students, members of the teaching staff of DAV College, Chandigarh and the old students in the country and abroad.

• To promote and encourage active interest in the progress and welfare of its members, students and old boys.

• To establish and organize centers at different places for fulfillment of its objectives.

• Where necessary to acquire and to own property for the furtherance of the objectives of the association.

• To arrange seminars, exhibitions, cultural programmes, etc. from time to time to promote the interest of its members.

• It is proposed to publish a biannual news letter to keep the members updated of the activities of the Association.

A directory of all the members is also being prepared.
