CENTRE OF MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION STUDIES
The Centre of Management and Communication Studies offers the following courses
1. Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Application
2. Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management
3. Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication
4. Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Labour Welfare
The duration of each course is one year. The classes of these courses would be held in the evening. If otherwise eligible, Post-graduate students of the college can join these programmes.
How to Apply
On the spot admission would be granted to these courses on first come, first serve basis. Candidates should appear for the interview with all documents, and completed application forms as per admission schedule.

Postgraduate Diplomas (Evening Classes)
Eligibility for Diploma in Marketing Management, Diploma in Personnel Management and Labour Welfare
The minimum qualification for admission to First Semester of the above two courses shall be:
a) A Bachelor's/Post-graduate degree in any discipline of the University or a degree of any University which has been recognised by the Syndicate as equivalent there to with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate:
Provided that in case of candidates having Bachelor's degree of the University through modern Indian Languages (Hindi / Urdu / Punjabi (Gurmukhi Script) and / or in a Classical Language Sanskrit / Persian Arabic) or a degree of any other University obtained in the same manner, recognised by the Syndicate, 45% marks in the aggregate shall be calculated by taking into account full percentage of marks in all the papers in Language excluding the additional optional paper ,English and the elective subject taken together.
OR
b) A pass in the final examination conducted by (a) Institute of Chartered Accounts of India or Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, or (b) Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or Institute of Cost Management Accountants incorporated by Royal Charter, London, or (c) Institute or Company Secretaries of India
OR
c) AMIE examination with at least 50% marks.
Eligibility for Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Application
A Bachelor's/Post-graduate degree in any discipline of the University or a degree of any other University which has been recognised by the Syndicate as equivalent there to with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate.
Note :
* Pass marks 40% in Theory, Internal Assessment and Practicals separately.
* 50% marks for Project Work.
* 50% marks in Aggregate to qualify the examinations.
Eligibility for Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication
A Bachelor's/Postgraduate degree in any discipline of the University or a degree of any other University which has been recognised by the Syndicate as equivalent there to.
Eligibility for all other Diploma Programmes would be as per Panjab University rules and regulations.
Laboratory and Software
The present air-conditioned laboratory provides environment for the students to seek more knowledge and practice IT kills. We have four labs equipped with latest Pentium computers with all necessary software. Labs remain open throughout the day and the time table is scheduled as per one computer per student scheme.
Parking
Students of evening courses shall park their vehicles at the Parking inside the college on payment of a nominal fee
